Springfield House Care Home is a well established EMI Residential Care Home in Houghton le Spring, dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our residents.

We are looking to expand our team, we are looking for care assistants who share our values of high standards of care.

Our night shift is 8pm to 8am, 3 or 4 shift's per week (depending on candiates preference.)

Hourly rate is dependent on Diploma Level, and we encourage personal development to reflect your rate of pay. NVQ's will be provided by the company should you wish to progress.


Job description:

  • To carry out and supervise the provision of quality care, in partnership with staff team, Residents and families.
  • To ensure Residents retain their dignity and privacy.
  • To maintain a safe and secure environment for Residents, Staff Members and Visitors.
  • To take charge of the shift, administer medication and oversee the care of Residents.

Skills, knowledge and qualifications

Required:


  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Genuine interest in, and experience of working with, the relevant Client group for minimum 2 years
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a multidisciplinary team
  • Satisfactory DBS check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)

Desired:


  • Have you willing to undertake Medication management?

£11.70-£12.29 per hour
