The Role:


Trainee Farming and Commercial Insurance Advisor

Full Time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Permanent Contract

Location:
Based at the Aberdeen City & Shire agency within Thainstone Centre, Inverurie

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Aberdeen City and Shire agency for a Trainee Farming and Commercial Insurance advisor.


About the role


We are looking for an individual to help grow our insurance business by fulfilling the needs of farming and commercial business clients across the Aberdeen City & Shire region.

You will attract clients by articulating the value of NFU Mutual products & services and use this platform to seek out cross-sales & referral opportunities.


About you
We are looking for someone who will take a lead in supporting the business as it continues its journey. It will be challenging and varied - if you are looking for an opportunity to develop and grow, we'd love to hear from you

  • An ability to learn and pick up knowledge quickly and effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills, with demonstrable experience
  • A professional manner over the phone and face to face
  • A proactive and confident approach with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and selfmanage
  • Good IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent team working skills, flexibility to multitask and support colleagues where necessary
  • A Full UK driving licence (preferred)
