An exciting opportunity has arisen within Hughes and Associates who provide a wide range of fire risk and compliance services to clients throughout the UK.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced, dedicated and hardworking Fire Stopping Engineer to join their team based in and around the London area.

Requirement to potentially travel to other regions for works or inspection may be required.

Experience & Qualifications:
Will ideally hold relevant industry qualifications in passive fire prevention.

Will have hands on experience carrying out fire stopping works to various properties, including commercial, industrial and public sectors.

Will ideally have experience working on social housing and Healthcare Premises.
Must hold either NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or FIRAS/BM Trada qualification.
Must have extensive experience inspecting and installing all passive fire products

Ideally have experience of Firefly Cavity Barrier Systems
Must have a good working knowledge of Fire Risk and Health & Safety procedures.
Knowledge and understanding of passive fire protection measures and policies.
Must have full deriving license
Must have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
Proficient IT skills - including MS Office.

Postholder duties:
Installing fire stopping measures and systems such as passive fire protection and fire doors
Carrying out inspections of fire stopping measures
Addressing any issues which may arise effectively and appropriately.

Salary:
£150.00-£200.00 per day
