Key Responsibilities

Adopt and promote a Zero Harm workplace attitude, drive improvement in Health and Safety
Promotion of a positive health and safety culture
Observation and adherence of the SimsMMway Safety Golden Rules
Lead and manage a team of people
Develop staff to reach their objectives and develop their capabilities
Promote continuous improvement wherever possible
Participate and drive growth strategies for the site
Ensure that Customers/Clients receive excellent customer service and value
Regularly communicate with other sites on relevant information
Provide support as required by covering Weighbridge, Mobile Plant, Banksman duties etc.

Proven track record of managing and developing a small to medium team

Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health and Safety legislation.
Relevant experience of metals recycling processes
Previous experience of having worked with nonferrous / ferrous door trade
Fork lift license and JCB license would be advantageous
360 machine operating experience would be advantageous
Experience using a weighbridge would be an advantage
ICT skills including Microsoft Office
