Estimated Start Date: 16th March 2024-
Expected Duration: 24 months- Time Type: Full Time (5 days per week including weekend working)- Apprenticeship Level: Advanced / Level 3 (A-Level)As a member of Tesla's Apprenticeship Programme, you will play a key part in supporting us in our mission 'to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy' and forming the next generation of Tesla professionals within our Dartford body shop.
What You'll Do- We currently have 2 apprenticeship pathways available for you to choose from:
Paint - Paint Apprentices will have the opportunity to work alongside fully qualified Body Paint Technicians to be fully trained in preparing and painting repaired vehicle panels.
You'll be responsible for undertaking paint repair and restoration work on all makes of motor vehicles, whilst achieving the highest standards possible.
Panel - Panel Apprentices will be working alongside fully qualified Body Panel Technicians to be fully trained in repairing and replacing damaged panels using approved techniques including gas, electric and plastic welding.
This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated self-starters, who thrive working independently and as part of a diverse team to solve problems, meet and exceed targets, and contribute fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to drive real change.
Throughout your time on the programme, you'll also receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals who are passionate about helping you succeed every step of the way.
What You'll Bring- Requirements
- No skills required as full training will be provided within your selcted discipline
- GCSE or equivalent English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) is desirable, but not required
- Functional skills in Maths and English, if required
- The opportunities are endless. By having a highly regarded set of skills, apprentices can go on to develop their career within the specific interests they may have, whether it be progressing through their dealership or working towards a job within the wider automotive industry.
