Based within the People function, the Senior Capability Consultant is an exciting and varied role that assists the Head of Organisational Capability and Senior Leadership teams translate strategy across Leadership, Talent and Capability into deliverables and interventions.

The focus of this role will be the key specialist area of cyber security.


This role will support the People function, Corporate Cyber team and business Cyber teams in the stra-tegic definition, design and planning of key programmes, interventions and learning solutions that will support the development and implementation of cyber security awareness, behaviours, culture and tech-nical skills; strengthening individual and organisational capability in this area and supporting continuous improvement and growth across ScottishPower.


_ What you'll be doing_:


Working within the ScottishPower Cyber Security project framework, you will provide expertise and specialist capability analysis and support to stakeholders by leading/supporting the delivery of key cyber security education, behaviour, culture and skills programmes and solutions, using innovative and new ways of learning that are always on, sustainable and agile.


You will support the implementation of a cyber skills and roles framework across ScottishPower businesses working with CISCO and BISO roles, and lead the identification of training and career pathways as an outcome.


You will conduct appropriate training needs analysis and diagnostics to assess business requirements and readiness for change by proactively engaging with stakeholders to accurately diagnose and determine the appropriate solutions that address business needs.


You will draft and co-ordinate valid proposals that are aligned to ScottishPower leadership/talent/skills strategies, clearly presenting robust recommendations and ROI, for consideration and approval of ScottishPower leadership teams.

Once approved you will then lead the implementation activity of these initiatives.


You will work with procurement stakeholders to complete procurement exercises to secure external learning solutions and manage ongoing supplier relationships, including drafting, and overseeing tenders.


You will ensure ongoing evaluation and sustainability of any solutions and interventions implemented and use data and insight to inform future decision making.


_ What you'll bring_:


  • Experience of design and implementation of skills frameworks, preferably in the Cyber Security / IT discipline
  • Experience of developing, designing, implementing, and evaluating cyber and IT skillsbased leadership and learning and development frameworks, products and tools that drive strategic and behavioural change at all levels within an organisation using online/digital/social/ alternative delivery methods
  • Strong knowledge of learning and development theories, methodologies, and current best practice, particularly in the cyber security / IT skillset
  • Strong project management, and selfmanagement skills with the ability to work with agility and pace amidst ambiguous and fluid priorities and timelines
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills across a variety of roles and organisational levels
