Job Description Stores Operative with Stork:

To support in the overall delivery of the Group's business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities as Stores Operative:

Goods in/ Goods Out/Equipment Returns

Assist with the emptying of returned containers of equipment and materials.
Assist with Aspire off hiring and third party returns.
Assist in ensuring that returned equipment has appropriate certification attached.
Assist in ensuring that any returned Dangerous Goods / Chemicals are dealt with according to the procedure.
Assist in the generation of equipment checklists and GRN's.
Assist with waste management activities.
Responsible for assisting in the management and accuracy of stock levels and the completion of routine audits on a quarterly basis.
Actively participate and contribute in the effective management of "surplus" materials.
Input into and maintenance of stock control systems.
Actively participate and contribute in the daytoday interface between Group Operations,
Purchasing and Base Facility.
Coordinating resource requirements to ensure cost effective purchasing and stock control.
Assist in materials receipt and dispatch.

Education & Experience

Education

Essential

GCSE, Higher education or experience commensurate with the role and have demonstrated an appropriate level of technical competence.

Desirable

PUWER & LOLER
COSHH & Manual Handling
Task Risk Assessment
Environmental Awareness
Product Specific Training

Experience and Skills

Essential

Experience in a similar role.

Desirable

Previous experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Knowledge of range of services Stork does and can provide to the client.
