Morestarts is proud to be working with a well-established client based in Shirebrook, who are a leading manufacturer of rail wagons.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To read engineering drawings for parts to be Fabricated/Welded
To fabricate, assemble and weld components to the correct quality levels and set timescales
To perform Welding/Plating tasks
To ensure correct marking up of components parts
Ability to assemble and Weld using jigs
MIG welder HEAVY Fabrications experience essential
Fabricating/Plating experience is desirable/very advantageous.
Overhead crane experience/qualification desireable.
Understanding of

Welding Standards:
BS EN 1090-1, 3834-2,

Salary and Shifts:

£ ph dependant on level of experience

Monday to Thursday 07:1- 16:00 / Fridays 07:15 -15:00

33 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays)

Overtime available. Rates are x1.3 Weekdays and x1.5 Saturdays
