We are looking for a Model Portfolio Operations Administrator/Analystto better enable us to deliver excellent results for our clients, supporting the management of client model portfolios.


Brief Overview of the Role

  • Reports to:
The Model Portfolio Operations Administrator will report to senior members of the Investment team

  • Location:
We currently operate on a hybrid system of working from home and our office in Reigate, Surrey

  • Start Date:
As soon as possible

  • Key skills:
Excel, MPS knowledge, rebalancing and trading MPS, working with IFAs, financial services knowledge, wrap platform experience.

  • Experience:
We are comfortable looking at a range of experiences. But it is a prerequisite that the individual has experience performing this/similar role in some way.

  • Permanent/Contract:
Permanent.


Responsibilities

There are three main responsibilities:
Portfolio Administration, Relationship Building and Reporting


These are discussed next:
Model Portfolio Administration

  • Administration and maintenance of model portfolios on platforms
  • Assist clients with model portfolio related queries and provide support
  • Implement model portfolio trades instructed by the Investment Team
  • Monitoring the settlement of model trades, performing reconciliations and resolving inconsistencies
  • Maintain model portfolio data via internal excel tools and thirdparty data providers
Relationship Building

  • Build strong working relationships with model portfolio teams at service providers
  • Build good working relationships with the operations team at various model client practices
  • Maintain good relationships with clients
Reporting

  • Bespoke client reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Monthly model factsheet checking

  • Relevant industry experience is essential
  • Experience in an administrative or operations role
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with thirdparty platforms and data providers
