Sewell Wallis is currently working with an excellent services company based in the South of Leeds near Morley. They are looking to take on an experienced purchase ledger clerk on a full time, permanent basis.

involve invoicing, statement reconciliations, cash allocation, processing payment runs, matching and coding and query resolution. They will run through the role in more detail in interview as they do not have a spec.


Duties will include:

  • Processing of invoices
  • Ensure payments are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Being a point of contact for any queries
  • Preparing, reviewing and paying the payment run weekly
  • Ensure all processes are documented
  • Onboarding new suppliers
  • Any ad hoc duties as and when they are required

You will:

  • Have experience in a similar role
  • Be driven and adaptable
  • Be able to prioritise a busy workload
  • Be organised and punctual
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Excel
  • Be eager to learn
