Who are we?
We are the Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA), Anglian Water's number one project, and one of the largest infrastructure projects in the water industry.
Costain; Farrans; Jacobs; and Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB), along with Anglian Water.
The programme to be delivered by SPA is to enable Anglian Water to meet its regulatory obligations, to provide additional water at various locations across Anglian Water's operating area, by the end of Asset Management Period (AMP) 7 in April 2025.
The pipeline, which is being delivered via 20 separate projects, is: costing circa £0.5bn; over 450 km in length; constructed of various materials in varying diameters from circa 225mm to 1000mm.
As our flagship project across the region, our objective is to 'Make the East of England Resilient to the Effects of Drought' and to do this we need a talented and enthusiastic workforce.
With a high volume of recruitment required over the coming months, it is essential we bring in the best talent to deliver the SPA project.
What will you be doing as our new Recruitment Advisor?
In this role, you'll be responsible for the recruitment of all SPA roles and you'll be required to understand the full recruitment cycle and champion the SPA 'best for task' principles, liaising with partner recruitment leads and hiring managers.
Acting as a central point of contact for all recruitment queries, you'll resolve issues and challenges, maintaining core SPA recruitment principles as you explore industry best practice, particularly focused on diversity and inclusion to compliment an efficient and robust recruitment service.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead resource initiatives and events
- Deliver a best for task recruitment process
- Drive diversity and inclusion best practices
- Securely process all personal data in line with GDPR
- Keep up to date records of resourcing information
- Liaise with SPA managers to understand and identify resource requirements early
- Integrate partner resourcing teams

Previous experience in facilitating and driving efficient recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment is essential as you'll lead on the recruitment of many roles on the SPA project.
