Job Role
We are currently recruiting for a Finance & Business Systems Admin Manager to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Worcester.
This is a role with a strong focus on the management, administration and maintenance of financial information and master data management across multiple Finance and Business Systems (including Safe, SAP and our internal billing system).
Key Responsibilities
Management of a small team to:
- Support with the mobilisation of new units, ensuring consistent information is held across multiple systems throughout the life of the contract
- Facilitate system change and update requests from the Operations team, communicating effectively to manage expectations and to ensure tasks are completed promptly
- Set up new customers, suppliers, and nominal codes on our Financial and related business systems
- Assist with the maintenance of the SAFE and SAP finance systems by ensuring all information held is current and correct
- Manage system setup tasks for the ongoing SAP ByD project
- Assist with data migration tasks, formatting large volumes of data using Excel
- Manage and support the maintenance of other systems, both financial and nonfinancial
- Effectively communicate with other departments to ensure information held across all systems is complete and consistent
- Document procedures to ensure adequate process documents are held for all tasks and responsibilities
- Support the wider finance department
- Support the development of standard operating procedures and controls.
Personal Profile
- The role would suit an organised individual with a background in finance and system implementation and management. An ability to communicate effectively at all levels is key, as well as a willingness to develop their skills and take on new tasks as required.
- Experience of managing, maintaining and using financial systems
- Understanding of financial processes and procedures
- Good skills in Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Experience in the management of individuals.
- Effective time management and a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Experience of using SAFE Financials, SAP Business by Design (SAP ByD), and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) would be a distinct advantage.
