We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Administrator to work within our Neurodevelopmental Team at Bury CAMHS.

The role of Administrator is to provide comprehensive admin support to the Neurodevelopmental team ensuring work is produced effectively and efficiently and in accordance with Trust standards, policies and procedures at all times.


Post holder must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative.


Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of people at all levels both internally and externally using empathy and diplomacy.

Confident whilst using the telephone to deal with enquiries from patients and other professionals.


This is a busy environment and therefore the post holder must be able to work under pressure and deal with conflicting demands.

The post holder must be self motivated, flexible and reliable.

The post holder will have excellent I.T and typing skills and understand the importance of confidentiality

The Neurodevelopmental Team at Bury CAMHS consists of nurses, assistant practitioners, speech and language therapists.

It is a busy team and deals with young people from the age of 5 to 18 with neurodevelopmental issues such as Autistic Spectrum Condition and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Job Summary

The postholder will be responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective service with excellent standards of customer care and referral processes with the Neurodevelopmental Team at Bury CAMHS.

The postholder must be adept at problem-solving techniques and possess exceptional decision-making abilities.

They will be responsible for maintaining accurate data of the service activity and support the clinical work of the Neurodevelopmental Team via admin systems and processes.

The role with involve liaison with children, young people, their families and members of the public via telephone and face to face
