If so, we have an opportunity for a
Production Controller to join our Craghoppers Buying team on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a Maternity leave, to monitor bulk orders and salesman samples with the aim to achieve 90% deliveries on time.

The Impact you will have in this role is:

You'll ensure all products are set up and ready for bulk garment order raising, ensuring suppliers are not over capacity and the critical path is closely managed to meet the target of 90% of deliveries on time
Issues will be raised promptly, and the team will be aware of any changes, delays or decisions made as well as putting forward suggestion of how to resolve issues
You will be regularly reviewing pricing in line with corporate calendar deadlines, making enquiries and suggestions as needed and escalating any issues directly to suppliers
Awareness and understanding of the PD process in relation to the Critical Path and order process including the fit process, testing requirements, auditing measures and legislation
The salesman sample process created and managed from colour pallets and lab dip approvals, through to order and transport of samples
Buying trips fully arranged and prepared for with all relevant documentation available
Sourcing enquiries conducted when needed

As our future Production Controller, you will have:

Experience of working within a Buying office, preferably as a Production Controller or equivalent with 2-3 years' experience
A meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work to and meet deadlines
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Experience working to corporate calendar deadlines and lead times
Able to pick up systems with ease
Competent user of Microsoft Excel
Dynamics experience is advantageous
Understanding of factory loadings/capabilities
High level of knowledge on the suppliers' capabilities and production process
