The Growth Company's (GC) Salford Employ team are looking for an Employer Engagement Consultant who is target-driven with excellent people skills to provide quality, bespoke recruitment service to the Supported Employment Service in Salford.

Supported Employment Service works with customers that have learning difficulties and/or autism that would like to enter into work.

The role will work with key partners and employers in the city to ensure good quality opportunities that are sustainable and meet the customer's needs and requirements.


Hours of work:
Monday - Friday (Agile working environment depending on diary)


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a range of activity which produces leads and creates the opportunity to sell products and services to employers.
  • Direct marketing / sales activity digitally, telephone based and in person.
  • Effectively account manager employers by maintaining and develop relationships.
  • Conduct employer in work support contact regularly to ensure sustainment and provide support for the employer this could include providing information on access to work funding or accessing training for staff.
  • Undertaking a consultative approach with employers to identify their recruitment and workforce development needs aligned to GC Employments business objectives.
  • Deploying techniques such as job carving, job design and analysis of the role to best meet the needs of the individual and employer.
  • Brokering work experience, work trials and any other reasonable adjustments in line with customer's needs.
  • Work cohesively and seamlessly with Key Workers, ensuring customer's and employers are supported and needs are met.

About You:


  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate with employers around opportunities for customers on Supported Employment Programme, as well as managing expectations and brokering adjustments in the form of job carving and job matching.
  • Good understanding of working with customers that have learning difficulties and/or autism.
  • Knowledge of Disability Confidence scheme and access to work.
  • Have a 'Do the right thing' attitude and work in a transparent and open manner.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local labour market, methods of recruitment and growth industries.
  • KPI driven and can work well under challenging targets.
  • Flexible approach to work including willingness to travel across Salford.
  • Excellent stakeholder Management.

Requirements:


  • Must have previous sales experience/Recruitment experience.
  • Networking and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Previous experience of working with customers with disabilities.
  • Recent experience of working to challenging targets within a sales environment.
  • Have knowledge of recruitment and training services.
  • Access to a car is desirable but not essential, however you must be able to travel to locations around Salford.
