Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters to all levels of the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practice.
- Develop, implement and maintain health and safety policies, procedures and systems to ensure they are effective and up to date.
- Carry out regular health and safety inspections and audits across the manufacturing sites, identifying any areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Conduct risk assessments and investigate accidents and incidents, making recommendations for improvements to prevent reoccurrence.
- Deliver health and safety training to employees and managers to raise awareness and promote good health and safety practices.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop and implement health and safety initiatives to improve the overall health and wellbeing of our employees.
- Keep up to date with changes to health and safety legislation and industry best practice, communicating any changes to the relevant stakeholders and ensuring compliance across the organization.
Key Requirements:
- NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and an understanding of the associated health and safety risks.
- A proactive and solutionfocused approach with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong IT skills with experience using health and safety management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively.
