Social Media Executive

We are currently seeking a Social Media Executive for a specialist retailer based in Dartford. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company that values design, innovation, and quality.

The role offers a competitive salary of £26,000 along with a range of benefits including hybrid working, 33 days of holidays, pension, life assurance, buying/selling holiday options, healthcare, gym membership, and occasional nights out.

As a Social Media Executive, your main responsibility will be to enhance brand awareness and drive organic growth through effective social media strategies


Key tasks include:

  • Acting as the main contact for PR and social media agencies
  • Managing all company social media accounts, ensuring regular and wellplanned posts
  • Collaborating with SEO and content specialists, graphic designers, and social media agencies
  • Developing and implementing best practice social media posts in coordination with the social media agency and Group Senior Digital & Communications Manager
  • Conducting research and analyzing social media trends, audiences, and topics
  • Creating social media timelines aligned with new product releases, ad campaigns, or brand messages
  • Monitoring competitor activity and contributing to KPI reports
  • Playing a pivotal role in executing the brand message
  • Managing a LinkedIn profile independently
  • Utilizing social media tools and analytics for platform management and insights
  • Assisting the PR team by gathering customer testimonies, case studies, contact details, and other content required for campaigns
  • Knowledge of fundamental marketing principles and terminology
  • Understanding of different content types and their purposes
  • Ability to create engaging daily social media posts
  • Experience using social media tools and managing social media accounts
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting
  • Ability to contribute to team meetings and presentations when necessary
