  • In this workbased training programme you'll work towards a

Level 3 Business Administration Advanced Apprenticeship. As you give vital project support and administration within a buzzing laboratory, you'll gain a real understanding of all aspects of business administration. You'll also be offered training to improve your communication skills, presentation skills, time management and team working.


You will gain experience in:

  • Data management with analysis and reporting of data
  • Producing spreadsheets
  • Preparation, planning, running and evaluation of projects
  • Use of Microsoft Office
  • Diary management and booking meeting rooms
  • Planning and organising meetings and events
  • Preparation of meeting agendas and attendance at meetings
  • Organisation of business travel and accommodation
  • Customer service
  • Researching and collating of information
  • Process improvements
  • Cost control and processing invoices

About the process:


  • Programme start date September 2023.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's, Level 9 (A*) to Level 4 (C) (or predicted grades). These must include English and Maths. If you do not have an ICT GCSE you will need to complete this as part of your Apprenticeship
  • An AS or A-Level would be an advantage but is not essential
  • A professional and mature approach to work
  • Be a UK resident
  • Live within a commutable distance to Teddington
Having a real passion for business and administration and keen to learn, you will have strong analytical skills, great attention to detail and a talent for team work a sense of humour helps too

Richmond upon Thames College will provide training at NPL and off-site within college. You will receive one-to-one support, group teaching and advice from our team of qualified assessors and advisers. Study time will be allocated to attend lessons and complete activities.
