HR Assistant

- Location: Cambridge, UK with the option to work a hybrid arrangement (3 days per week in the office)
- Full time: 35 hours per week
- Contract: Openended
- Salary: £25,000 per annum plus competitive 12% pension benefit
BirdLife International is the world's largest nature conservation partnership. Through our unique local-to-global approach, we deliver high-impact and long-term conservation for the benefit of nature and people.
You will provide administrative support across a wide range of HR tasks, and act as frontline support to employees and managers on policies and procedures.
You will also act as superuser for the HR functionality of our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and online learning platforms.
Ideally, you will have:
- Solid administrative background
- Experience in a people focused role; handson HR experience is not essential however ideally you will have a keen interest in HR and the desire to move into a dedicated HR role
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong multitasking skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- A positive and proactive approach and the ability to use your initiative.
- Confidence to work independently but also enjoy working in a small and supportive team
- The ability and confidence to communicate with people of all levels and whose first language is not English
