  • Assist trained staff in the administration of cares at home and use all opportunities available to work through clinical competencies.
  • To undertake clinical tasks such as Blood Pressure monitoring, urinalysis and measure heights & weights, Naso
  • Gastric tube insertion and Gastrostomy cares following completion of competencies.
  • Take blood samples from children and young people (CYP).
  • When carrying out assessments document all results and inform trained nurses/clinicians of all results.
  • The post holder will be supervised by the Community Children's Nurses (CCN Team) to work within individual children's protocols of care and trust policies.
  • Assist Doctors in MOSAIC clinic appointments.
  • Ensure that all clinical examination rooms are clean, tidy and ready for use at MOSAIC Child Development Centre.
  • Chase blood results for patients attending clinic appointments.
  • Welcoming families and children and taking physiological measurements when attending clinic appointment.
  • To be responsible for highlighting and identification of child protection concerns to the CCN team leader/ child protection lead and action concerns through child protection procedures.
  • The post holder will be supervised by an RSCN/RN (child), and work within individual children's protocols of care and trust policies.
  • To do the weekly order of clinical supplies of patients for the team
