We are currently seeking a highly organized and proficient Transport Coordinator to join our busy depots and support our transportation team.

About the role:
As a Transport Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the execution and management of all transportation matters within our operational area.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our vehicles and equipment, as well as providing support to our drivers in fulfilling their duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle and large plant inspections, including MOTs, Tacho calibration, PMIs, and other required inspections.
- Ensure all vehicles and large plant meet legal requirements and maintain a safe and roadworthy condition in compliance with legislation and operator license obligations.
- Generate reports as required by the Transport Manager and Management team, including vehicle status updates.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of incidents and trackers.
- Monitor and ensure all drivers possess valid Drivers CPC, Driving License Photo cards, and Tachograph cards.
- Collaborate with accounts, buyers, and purchase ledger departments regarding invoices, purchase orders, and consumables.
- Log and appeal parking charge notices (PCNs).
- Prepare monthly board packs.
- Administer user and driver accounts in the Samsara system.
- Tag vehicles on the Samsara platform.
- Manage the calibration of cameras on the Samsara system.
- Act as a deputy for the Transport Manager or Transport Administrator when necessary.

- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal teams.
- Prior experience in a similar transport coordination or logistics role is desirable but not essential.

£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
