Empowering Learning are supporting a primary school based in SE London / Kent borders. They are seeking to appoint an experienced School Business Manager on a permanent basis from March 2023.


The role has become available due to the current School Business Manager being prompted to another strategic role within the Multi Academy Trust that the school are a part of.

You will be joining a forward thinking 1.5 form entry school, who have a happyand welcoming atmosphere, with hard working and committed staff, who have good links with parent and the local community.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide professional leadership and management of all school support staff in partnership with the staff team

  • Promote highest standard of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensure the effective use of resources
  • Responsible for the final resource management / facility and property management / Health & Safety across the school
  • Ensure all aspects of HR, parent / carer liaison / reception / Multiagency liaison and are coordinated with a highquality service

KEY EXPERIENCE:


  • School Business Manager qualification or currently completing
  • Degree or relevant qualification in accounting, business management or related business discipline
  • GDPR training
  • Current / previous experience as a School Business Manager
  • Experience of with school evaluation and improvement planning
  • Knowledge of financial planning
- ability to build positive and effective relationships with staff and stakeholders


Salary:
Dependent on experience
