Job description It is important that pharmacists have opportunities to progress and take on enhanced clinical roles and responsibilities as part of multi-disciplinary teams, particularly as patients' health needs are becoming more diverse and complex, and healthcare systems are evolving.- In light of this, and our University Strategy, we are seeking to appoint a member of staff who will direct education and the delivery of contemporary clinical teaching and assessment for our taught postgraduate portfolio of programmes for pharmacists.- Honours degree or equivalent in pharmacy which is automatically registrable with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland or the General Pharmaceutical Council (Great Britain);

  • PhD in Pharmacy or a closely related area (or evidence of working towards completion of a relevant PhD in the near future);
  • Evidence of ability to publish;
  • Evidence of recent, relevant scholarly activity in clinical pharmacy or pharmacy education (for example, development of clinical guidelines) (Established Lecturer only); and
  • Teaching experience, commensurate with stage of career.
