What does this Mental Health Support Worker job involve?
- To work as a support worker (sometimes known as a care assistant/healthcare worker) for our patients with the support of senior staff
- To undertake aspects of care with or without direct supervision, including undertaking
enhanced observations and
escorting duties: - Person-centred recreational and activity groups
- Carrying out
personal care: - Supporting individuals to achieve their care aspirations
- To ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients, and to always work in a manner that promotes dignity through the adoption of personcentred care principles.

Baldock Manor Hospital is our 42-bed mental health hospital based in Baldock, offering a range of specialist services for both men and women.
At our hospital we have a female PICU and two high-dependency units, one for older men and one for older ladies.
