Description

We have a vacancy for an experienced CreditController/Accounts Assistant to work at this motor dealership in Stevenage.

You do not need Motor Trade experience ( although it would be a bonus) but you must have a working knowledge of Kerridge and Payroll and have credit control experience.

You will be responsible for:

Monitoring and chasing cash, vehicle, and warranty debt

Liaison with department managers incl weekly debt meetings

Assisting Cashier with bank postings

Customer credit checks

Creating new customer accounts

Sending customer statements

Investigating and resolving unusual sales ledger balances

Month end sales ledger and nominal reconciliations

Monitoring aged bad debt and calculating month end provision

Assistance with month end vehicle stock check.

You must be able to work in an orderly and methodical manner and to able to keep to deadlines for reports etc Mon - Fri with a package of £ depending on experience.
