Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Property Management Assistant to help us efficiently manage and maintain our diverse portfolio of properties.

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to property management, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and our tenants are satisfied.


Responsibilities:


Maintenance and Repairs:
Coordinate and oversee routine property maintenance, including landscaping and cleaning.

Schedule and supervise contractors for more extensive repairs or renovations.


Tenant Relations:

Communicate with tenants to address their concerns, requests, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.

Conduct property inspections and address any issues to ensure tenant satisfaction.

Assist with lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs.


Administrative Support:

Maintain organised property records and documentation, including lease agreements, maintenance logs, and tenant information.

Prepare and distribute materials required for properties.


Property Inspections:

Conduct regular property inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues.

Ensure properties are compliant with local regulations and safety standards.


Vendor Management:

Collaborate with various contractors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective property maintenance.

Evaluate and recommend new vendors to improve property management efficiency.


Emergency Response:

Be available for on-call duty to address after-hours emergencies and ensure the safety and security of the properties.


Qualifications:

GCSE English & Maths; additional property management or maintenance training is a plus.

Previous experience in property management, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hybrid Remote - part site based and part home work.

Flexible working hours but the main hours should normally be between 10.30am-3pm 4 days a week, 3.5 hours a day, although we can be flexible.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, (fuel allowance given)

£15.00 per hour
