Role Overview:


As a Gas Main Layer at Lanes-I, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and efficiency of our gas works.

Your role will involve laying gas mains and pipelines in various settings, performing routine checks whilst ensuring work is done to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Reporting accidents and near misses.
  • Laying gas mains up to 12" and pipelines in urban and rural areas.
  • Adhering to industry and company safety standards and protocols.
  • Safely operating equipment, including digging and trenching machinery.
  • Working collaboratively with the team and coordinating with other field staff.
  • Completing documentation for installations.
  • Professional representation of Lanes-I to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in toolbox talks.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Requirements:


  • EUSR
  • SHEA Gas accreditation.
  • NCO(2) Service/Main Layer (up to & including 355mm/2bar).
  • NRSWA Operative Card.
  • SCO 1, 2 & 5 (desirable).
  • Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
