We're recruiting

Warehouse Operatives to join our team, based at our nut processing site in Bromborough. This role offers

£12.84 per hour.

Shifts following a three rotation as follows:


Week 1: 6 am-2 pm

Week 2: 2 pm-10 pm

Week 3: 10 pm-6 am

Responsibilities:


About the Warehouse Operative role:


  • Picking pallets from the racking with the reach truck and taking them to the relevant production area, using a handheld scanner to record the movements.
  • Using computers to check the production progress and ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
  • Putting pallets away into the racking and scanning all pallets that have been moved to the correct location.
  • Operating a cleanasyougo policy to ensure the warehouse and truck always remain clean.
  • Assist in stock control by reporting stock anomalies to a senior member of staff now they are identified.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards of the Warehouse & Fork Trucks.

Qualifications:

  • A good understanding of Stock Management.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, regulatory requirements, housekeeping and health and safety.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in Warehouse & Food Manufacturing would be desirable.
  • PC literate including being able to work on the computer system to produce pick lists (training will be given).
  • Solid record of mindfulness and strict adherence to procedures.
  • Reach truck license
