With responsibility and accountability for your own specific workload, this role requires collaboration with the relevant functions to ensure the effective and timely delivery of the required documentation. You will be required to review certification provided by suppliers, operations, aftermarket, third parties, and compile DOC's, generate and upload the documentation pack to the customer portal, in line with OA requirements. Through the documentation review and compilation of the certification pack you will manage the schedule for the product grouping or function assigned.

This role requires the validation that the contractual obligations have been met, and that any regulatory requirements have been satisfied in full, as such liaison with relevant Third-Party inspectors to obtain necessary release certification (CoC/ROE/Attestation) maybe required. As part of the certification team you will be expected to participate in process improvement and assist in the identification of potential improvements within the process to maintain its cost-effectiveness. You will be expected to be an individual decision-maker and take ownership of the product grouping and manage your workload with the need for mínimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Be responsible for the assigned department's certification output and schedule all tasks as required.
  • Witness pressure tests.
  • Monitor documentation supply from ISE Ops/Suppliers/Warehouse as required for each order.
  • Manage own workload in line with production schedule requirements.
  • Be responsible for the review of certification documentation from ISE Ops, suppliers and Third party prior to and during compilation of documentation packs.
  • Compilation, including associated duties (scanning, typing, printing, etc.), of product certification packs for relevant assigned function.
  • Compile certification packs in accordance with customer, regulatory and company procedural/policy requirements.
  • Be responsible for the release of products and supply of certification to the customers through the certification portal.
  • Liaise with aftermarket, operations and other QA staffing during the compilation of certification, in order to highlight, action and close out any documentation errors, omissions or queries.
  • Raise and action CAPA/NCR's as required in relation to product certification with assistance and support from department manager.
  • Authorised to sign off and use QA departmental stamp.
  • Coordinate and liaise with third party and customer inspectors for product certification/sign off, ensuring effective use of third party inspectors time while on site.
  • Archive documentation as required and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in training as required.
  • Ensure that all statutory and regulatory safety and environmental requirements are adhered to in line with company procedures and policies.
  • Ensure all company policies surrounding data control, health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met
  • Support wider certification function, by carrying out other certification duties when business requirements dictate.
  • Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
  • Be fully aware of personal workload, prioritise and organise to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Travel when required as dictated by business need.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Educated to a good standard of high school education or equivalent (essential).

EXPERIENCE:


  • Working experience of CE/DNV/EN/ISO, Lifting regulatory requirements with respect to certification and marking (essential).
  • Experience of Certification within precision manufacturing and oil and gas environment (essential).
  • Knowledge of Quality Management system requirements (essential).
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas product standards, such as API 6A, NACE, ASTM, etc (desirable).
  • Experience of document management processes (desirable).

SKILLS, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:


  • Computer literacy (including excellent command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook) (essential).
  • Very methodical and organized with a high degree of attention to detail (essential).
  • Understanding of EN 10204/ISO desirable).
