This position of a
Responsive Repairs surveyor requires an experienced individual to cover the
Swindon area.

You will be joining an exciting team within a nationally covered housing association who have the ambition to grow this department substantially over the next 12 months.

This role involves you
working from home for 2 days and on the road for the remainder of the week.

The salary for this role is
£35,000 - £42,000.

Responsibilities of the
Response Repairs surveyor:

Taking responsibility for repair services requests and complaints made by tenants
Undertaking appropriate investigations and raising repair orders as necessary
Diagnose issues and report to relevant job titles
Inspect works and approve invoices or valuations for payment upon notification of completion or submission of a payment request by the contractor
Overseeing minor works, refurbishment work, voids and general surveying
Advise on construction defects and the like, all helping us to ensure we deliver a great customer service

Skills needed in the
Response Repairs Surveyor:

Relative experience within a local authority or other registered social landlord
Extensive experience within repairs surveying
Experience of working directly with tenants and able to represent the company on a good front
Mould and damp experience are essential
Good understanding IT as you will be using a tablet for your work
