Description

Responsibilities:

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
Assists the UK and Ireland Global Banking Markets and Treasury Compliance Departments in the updating of regulatory libraries (GBMT and Compliance Department Units), categorising the regulatory obligations in accordance with a global compliance risk taxonomy
Provides recommendations on the identification of all applicable regulatory obligations, completing an update and build out of existing regulatory library content as required, in light of Brexit impacts
Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions
Contributes to a high performance environment and fosters an inclusive work environment; supporting the vision/values/business strategy for the team

Skills desired:

Solid relevant experience in a large financial services (FS) institution, management consulting firm, or at a regulator
Postsecondary graduate of Business, Law, or a related program
CISI/ICA qualifications, as appropriate
Practical understanding of regulatory and industry trends
Solid knowledge of UK and Ireland/EU regulatory agencies, regimes and regulatory frameworks in major markets applicable to wholesale capital markets, investment banking, corporate banking and treasury
Working knowledge of UK onshored Statutory Instruments and Binding Technical Standards as a result of Brexit
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
Able to work in a fastpaced environment
Must be an innovative, resultsoriented and highly motivated individual
