Description
We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our PFI, FM & CE Finance Team based in Cardiff.


Location:
Cardiff - Hybrid working available with travel to various sites as and when required


Contract:
Permanent, Full Time. Monday to Friday.


What will you be responsible for?


As a Finance Business Partner, you'll be leading the PFI Facilities Management and Corporate Estates Finance business unit, reporting to the Head of Finance for Facilities Management.


Your day to day will include:

  • Overseeing the smooth operation of the accounting function, providing accounting support to the business units and perform necessary statutory duties as required by Kier Group.
  • Preparation of the Annual Budgets and Reforecasts and ensuring that the BU directors are involved in the preparation of the forecasts
  • Production of monthly accounts with a detailed analysis and reporting of the results for the business units against the annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
  • Reconciling and reporting of the key balance sheet accounts and providing visibility of the issues
  • Understanding and reporting on the Lifecycle elements of the PFI business

  • You are a Qualified Accountant with post qualification experience
  • You have strong commercial acumen, with a high level of integrity and resilience
  • You have strong analytical skills with an ability to operate both at transactional and strategic level
  • You have experience of operating to tight deadlines and accurately for the submission of trading results
