About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Adviser to support our Human Resources team, within Northamptonshire Children's Trust.


This will be a busy and varied role, providing first line professional HR advice and supporting a full range of HR matters, including case management, employment relations and service queries.


You will be joining our small team of HR professionals, who have a variety of experience and CIPD/Industry recognised qualifications.

The main priorities for the role are:

  • Monitoring of shared HR Inbox with employee relation workforce type queries
  • Providing first line advice and guidance on HR issues to support both managers and colleagues within NCT, in line with employment law and Trust policies and procedures
  • Undertake regular work data analysis, including sickness and turnover
About you

You will need to be:

  • A highly proficient administrator
  • Wellorganised and able to deal with multiple priorities
  • Level 3 CIPD qualified or equivalent in experience to be able to offer first line professional advice
  • A strong communicator with the confidence to engage with senior leads and external partners, building relationships and working with service providers
  • Resilient, with attention to detail and a cando attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages with a strong focus for Excel
  • Able to demonstrate your previous experience of working within a HR or similar environment, delivering HR advice and support to customers
  • Experience of revising processes advantageous
