An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Women's Health Division within Gynaecology for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and vibrant individual to join our administration team at the London Complex Mesh Centre (LCMC).

We are looking for a full-time permanent Band 4 Administration Coordinator who will support the team in the day-to-day delivery of services to ensure there is high quality patient care across the relevant subspecialties.

The role is predominantly based at 250 Euston Road.

The Administration Co-ordinator will report to the Team Leader, with some of their key responsibilities being:

  • Managing the admitted waiting list for specific consultant(s) and booking patients in for their surgery (TCIs)
  • Supporting the running of the clinics, through managing the New and F/Up waiting lists and associated queries from clinical teams
  • Booking surgical preassessment clinic appointments, to inform patients of appointments and ensure all prerequisites prior to surgical admission have been actioned
  • Liaising with GPs and community practitioners as needed
  • Responding to and actioning incoming communication from patients and other hospitals through monitoring the shared inboxes, Epic in basket, answering the phones and managing the post
  • Liaise with various members of the MDT on actions for next steps of patients care:

The current admin team is based within the Women's Health division for the London Complex Mesh Centre. The successful applicant will be working closely with the clinical and nursing team and other administrators within the team. This enables a supportive atmosphere both from managers and peers.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for patients accessing the service and will arrange appointments for patients over the phone and in writing, therefore good organisational and multi-tasking skills are crucial to excelling in the service.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and be patient focused.

We will be seeking applicants that align to the UCLH Values and for an individual who will support the London Complex Mesh Centre team in the day-to-day delivery of outpatient and surgical services to ensure there is high quality patient care for the patients within the service.
