We're looking for you to support our work with the public and researchers.Your energy and organisation will drive our work. You'll support our head of department and senior managers. You'll ensure the smooth running of our Centre for Research Engagement and Impact.
The Centre engages research with everyone with a stake in it, at every stage. We see that achieving the most for the most people, faster.
Our teams help make research clear, open and fair. You'll support their wide-ranging work with the public, patients and others.
The three teams are:
- Research Communications
- Public and Patient Involvement and engagement
- Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

What you'll do:
You'll support the head of the Centre and three teams by:
- The setup and support of meetings. Including those with researchers, the public and other departments
- Supporting the SCREI team and senior managers. This includes filing, room bookings, typing, rostering, procurement and arranging travel
What you bring:
- Great communication and people skills
- Administration of databases
- IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office packages
- General administrative experience with secretarial skills
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
