The post holder will sit within the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate Management Team which is responsible for specialties and teams across the directorate such as Inpatient Wards, Theatres and Outpatients.

The post holder will work alongside the directorate management team to ensure the smooth running of the team, ensuring that we are fully prepared for all meetings and events.

You will need excellent communication skills and be able to think in advance and flexibility to thrive and succeed.

The post holder will be required to:

Provide an effective and efficient administrative service to the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate.
You will organise the directorate team to ensure that we are prepared in advance of key organisational meetings.
You will organise meetings, take part and be able to take minutes in key directorate meetings.
Take responsibility of key quality checklists and safety alerts sent to the directorate to ensure a timely and efficient response.
Undertake projects in line with the role.
