Asylum, Refugee and Migrant Community Integration Worker
(Early Help Service, South Tyneside)
£29,439 pa

The post will provide effective support to individuals and families who are or have been seeking asylum.


You will be responsible to provide effective support, advice and guidance to individuals and families who are or have been seeking asylum.

As well as signposting to and liaison with all organisations currently working with families requiring support. As the postholder you will be expected to work within a case management framework.

South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
