BAM FM is recruiting a Helpdesk Operator on a full time, permanent basis to support school & commercial projects in the Southwest but based at Blaise High School, Bristol.

This role is working 37.5 hours per week. Hours start between 7.30am and 9am and end between 4.30pm and 6pm.


Your mission


Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager, your main responsibilities will be to operate the FM Helpdesk where you will be required to take calls and log the tasks requested onto a CAFM system.


  • Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Issue tasks to site teams/mobile engineers and monitor each task through to completion.
  • Provide administration support to the projects and local FM team.
  • Provide quotes to our clients for extra works and raising purchase order to our subcontractors.
  • Provide information and take bookings from internal and external customers for sports and room facilities.

Who are we looking for?

  • A good telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A positive and flexible approach to work
  • Must be IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Prior knowledge of Concept Evolution would be advantageous but not essential
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
