Driver Hire Taunton & Bridgwater are looking to recruit a Class 2 + ADR driver to work with our client based in Yeovil, this role has an immediate start and is temporary.
Our client is a leading supplier of heating oil to domestic and commercial premises.Key duties:
- Completion of deliveries of heating oil to premises as per the daily trip sheets observing all aspects of Health & Safety
- All delivery notes are accurately completed with copies left with the client and a copy returned to the depot
- All vehicle checks are carried out daily with defects reported to the duty manager
- Vehicles are driven in accordance with the Highway code, observing other road users
You will require:
- A valid UK Cat C licence with ADR tank class
- Digital tachograph card & up to date Driver CPC qualification card
- Due to the nature of the role you will be physically fit as manual handling of a heavy hose is required
- Good customer skills as interaction will take place
- Some multi drop experience
Hours of Work & wages:
- Start times from 07.00 hrs, Monday to Friday
- Pay rates start from £15.00 per hour (PAYE) with opportunities for overtime
- Wages paid weekly
- Online payslips
- Holiday pay accrued from the first shift
