Main duties of the job:


_ This is a part time weekend shift (Saturdays and Sundays) post within the London Breast Screening Administration Hub
_


We are looking for Lead Administration Officer (Team Leader) to support the work of the London Breast Screening Administration Hub by accurate, efficient and timely execution of essential activities that supports the breast screening pathway, under the direction of the Assistant Service Manager and Service Manager.


To lead on the administration function related to the London Breast Screening Administration HUB and Call Centre including a close collaboration with the London Breast Screening services.


To provide, supervision to the Senior Administration Officers and Administration Officer's, associated with the London Breast screening Hub and Call Centre.

Qualifications:


Essential criteria:


  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience

Desirable criteria:


  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Care or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
  • Key Skills Level 2 in Literacy or equivalent experience

Experience:


Essential criteria:


  • Experience working in a complex organization with numerous stakeholders
  • Experience of undertaking detailed, intensive work in a busy administrative environment
  • Experience of using various forms of information technology in workrelated activities.
  • Experience working in the National Health Service (NHS)

Desirable criteria:


  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience working in a Breast Screening Unit

Skills:


Essential criteria:


  • Good understanding of general office working procedures
  • Good working knowledge of relevant Microsoft office packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.

  • Training skills
