Job Title: 2nd line IT Support Engineer**
Location:Salary**:
£27,000
Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd line support to business users and clients.
- Troubleshoot network and communication systems.
- Monitor and maintain the day to day IT operations and processes.
- Analyse and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and security regulations.
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain and update IT systems and databases.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new IT systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT support engineer or similar role.
- Knowledge of network and communication systems.
- Experience with Windows, Hyper V, VMWare and Mac operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Technical Skills Required:
- System Administration
- Networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routers etc.)
- Active Directory
- Office 365
- Exchange
- Backup/Restore
- Windows/Hyper V /VMWare
- Troubleshooting
- Documentation
