Description
We are looking for a QA Admin Support to work in our Nuclear and Infrastructure Division. This role will be based at out site in Sherburn.


Job Purpose


The QA Admin support is helping to provide all the objective evidence in an organised and structured way in accordance with the Severfield quality system so they can prove to the client that the company is meeting the project specification in every way.

QA Admin collates and co-ordinates all the information which is provided to the client throughout the project/contract.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the required project specific information is placed in the correct area on Workspace, hardcopies and/or local project folders
  • Review documentation, identify any errors and arrange for correction as needed
  • Check all Supplier Test Certification against Purchase Orders and relevant specifications, to ensure there is material traceability
  • Chase missing or delayed material test certification from suppliers
  • Assisting the project with supplier issues/NCRs
  • Escalate any errors or delays in material traceability to the Project and Quality Managers
  • Assist with NCR and SAM software creating contracts, downloading reporting information
  • Any other ad hoc duties as deemed necessary, within your ability to carry out

Educational background required
Needs to be IT Literate with a good standard of education, including Maths and English


Job related experience required

  • Have previous experience working in a fastpaced office environment.
  • Have attention to detail and will STOP any errors progressing until they are corrected,
  • Use to working with a high volume of information.
  • Good communication skills

Any other skills / knowledge required

  • Nuclear Safety awareness (or similarly highly regulated industry, e.g. legal, oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, medical etc.) an advantage but training and support will be given.
  • Be able to prioritise workload.
