Description

Tradewind are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach and SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a highly-regarded 3 form entry school in Enfield.

This is a full-time role to start as soon as possible and is initially for the rest of the academicyear with the potential for a permanent contract thereafter.

Responsibilities:

Delivering highquality sports coaching and PE lessons across the school
Working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis to provide support across the curriculum
Supporting students with additional needs and behaviour management
Liaising with parents and carers as required
Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Sports Coach and SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role
Relevant qualifications or experience in sports coaching and physical education
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient and empathetic approach to working with children with additional needs
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
