Description

We are looking for Cat C+E Drivers for Night roles.

Driving duties will be the trunking of palletised goods between our depot at Newton Aycliffe and various hubs across the country.
Previous trunking experience is preferred but not essential. Good geographical knowledge of the UK is required.

  • Hold a full UK driving licence with a Category C+E entitlement.
  • Have no more than 3 licence penalty points.
  • Have a UK Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Have a current Driver Qualification (CPC) Card.
  • Have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate good customerfacing skills.

Remuneration package:


Overtime for all roles is payable after 50hrs in a week where 5 days are worked; 40hrs in a week where 4 days are worked, 30hrs in a week where 3 days are worked, etc.


  • CAT C+E
  • Night Role: Annual salary = £43,018. Weekly salary = £ Day Rate = £ Overtime = £16.50 /hr.
20 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays.

Breaks are paid.

  • ADR: £12.
00 daily shift allowance paid when any ADR goods are transported by a suitably qualified driver.

Course costs, VAT and upload fees may be claimed each calendar year.

  • Driver Medicals: Medicals for HGV licence renewals can be arranged and paid for by the Company or may be claimed as an expense.
