Permanent Contract | £39,248 to £43,517 per annum (Scale K) | 37 hours per week | Havenbridge House, Great Yarmouth

We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Workers (grade J and above), Practice Consultants and Team Managers new to Norfolk County Council.

For experienced Social Workers new to Norfolk County Council we promise to try and match or better your existing salary.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Practice Consultant to join the Eastern Locality Team.

A qualified Social Worker with at least two year's post-qualifying experience, you will have the ability to work under pressure; have strong organisational skills; be passionate about making a difference; and ready to embrace change.

You will have the ability to provide the specialist knowledge needed to support the management of complex cases, including safeguarding.

Approachable, you will support our team of Assistant Practitioners, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists taking an active role in their practice development, supervision and wellbeing support.

You will take a lead role in the operations of the team including managing workflow and providing casework consultations.
