Research Assistant Salary:
Grade R1 from £35,490 to £37,488 with potential to progress to £38,532 pa sustained exceptional contribution.

Research Fellow Salary:
Grade R1 from £39,607 to £44,240 with potential to progress to £46,771 pa through sustained exceptional contribution.

Indicated salaries are inclusive of London Weighting.

Familiarity with advanced optical instrumentation, software development, numerical simulations, and handling/preparation of biological samples is required. Proficiency with microscopy, particularly FLIM and TPM, is highly desirable. Proficiency in programming (_e.g._, Matlab, Python, Labview) is welcome. Availability to work across disciplines with biological samples is essential. Good communication skills and demonstrable capabilities to work both independently and as part of a team are required. The post holder must attend consortium meetings, including travelling abroad to coordinate efforts with European partners.
