Temporary PT Cleaner - General
**Reference no: Durham

**Pay Rate: £10.79 per hour PAYE

10 Monday - Friday, TBC

This opening assignment is for 4 months

A PT Cleaner is required to perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming and to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.

To ensure that all areas are kept tidy and presentable and to clean and sanitise restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an efficient and effective cleaning service, working to agreed standards.
  • Use equipment, cleaning machines and techniques as directed by cleaning supervision and management to effectively clean all areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a responsible manner.
  • Routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Assist with the setup and cleaning of spaces for special events or meetings if required.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning operation

Knowledge:

  • Some knowledge of cleaning procedures.
  • Some knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Exeperience:

  • Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
