We are looking for a Lead Cover Supervisorto join our supportive and talented team at Winterstoke Hundred Academy.

We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students' learning.

This role is offered on a Fixed Term Contract basis until Janaury 2025, Term Time only plus inset days. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm. Actual starting salary for term time only hours is £25,409.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Lead Cover Supervisor who will lead a team ensuring that lesson cover undertaken is of a high standard and meets academy needs.

Will be responsible for co-ordinating lesson cover within the Academy.

They will supervise whole classes and/or small groups during the short term absence of the timetabled class teacher, whether planned or un-planned absence.

Ensure students carry out the curriculum tasks set by the absent teacher, assisting them to understand the nature of the work set, managing student behaviour and minimising the impact of the teacher's absence on their learning.

About the Cabot Learning Federation
The Cabot Learning Federation is a divers Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in the South West.

We are proud to serve 15,000+ pupils who attend our nine secondary academies, nine primary academies, our all through provision, studio school, discrete Post 16 provision, two alternative provision schools and three SEMH special schools.

Currently we are small-scale provision with just years 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13.

The development of the new building, which will open in January 2024, will see us nearing capacity as a split-site, medium-scale 11-19 academy.
