We have an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Department in a new role as Housekeeper at the Denmark Hill site.

The role will involve undertaking a variety of housekeeping tasks to support the smooth running of our busy dispensary.

  • To carry out filing of prescriptions on a daily basis in accordance with the departmental Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • To put away stocks delivered to the dispensary ensuring medicines are stored in the allocated locations only.
  • To keep the dispensary fridges clean and tidy so medicines can be easily located.
  • To undertake drug expiry date checks of stocks kept in the dispensary in accordance with departmental SOP.
  • To topup sundries in the dispensary as needed.
  • To manage, coordinate and place the weekly order for sundries and nondrug lines to ensure adequate levels are maintained.
  • To chase any outstanding sundries orders and liaise with stores to organise alternatives in the event of interrupted supply.
  • To print and keep Patient Information Leaflet draws stocked for top 30 drug lines.
  • To assist in the processing of part pack returns into the robot using the ARIM system as needed.
  • To assist in the printing of discharge prescriptions as needed.
  • To be able to use pharmacy computer system to undertake ordering and enter dat accurately as needed.
  • To attend weekly dispensary meetings and support minute taking for the dispensary manager.
