Field Services Engineer - £45k - Finance Customers
City of London based


I am representing an awarding winning financial services IT MSP who are looking for an experienced engineer to come and work on their field service engineering team.

You will be part of a team that manages the life cycle of service incidents, service requestsand change requests which delivers all the elements of a high-quality service to external partners in a timely and accurate manner.


Experience:


  • Experience of Delivering highquality onsite support to a variety of financial sector clients
  • Experience of maintaining and administering solutions based on cloudbased platforms Including Microsoft Azure and Office365, and the ability to evidence automating processes and procedures to reduce manual effort.
  • Broad and strong technical background with the Microsoft technology stack including.
  • Office 365, EMS, SharePoint, Active Directory and Windows Server and Desktop operating
  • Extensive experience in delivering desk side support to senior Executive level endusers.
  • Prior experience within the financial sector with knowledge of supporting Bloomberg,
  • OMS and PMS platforms are preferable.

Day to day:


  • Attending clients site to assist in resolution of ongoing incidents and carrying out
- scheduled and emergency activities

  • Assisting in managing the life cycle of all service event from endusers.
  • Provide remote / Onsite based enduser support to troubleshoot issues and problems with
- equipment and/or systems.

  • Assist with the setup of equipment and/or Starters/leavers in line with Customers process.
  • Complete research into identifying problems and developing appropriate solutions
